About us

Mr. Playwood has been developing sketches and drafting of wooden constructions all his life so you just enjoy the process of assembly of models and watch how you create a miracle with your own hands.

Each gift model consists of three elements:

MYSTERY

Box design is awesome! You can shake it and listen to it. You may be fascinated to know the answer to the question “what’s inside?”.

SURPRISE

Self-assembled kinetic wooden models are made to surprise you. Non-standard thoughts, gigantic scales, unique mechanisms. Each model’s detail is a step towards a new discovery.

MIRACLE

Miracle is when a new universe grows out of a tree. He spins, moves toward you, and comes alive. Believe in it. Magic in pure form.

Shotgun

Mechanical Wooden model

The Shotgun is for purpose-driven people only. It has been designed to shoot special bullets and always hits the mark.

About:

The first weapon engineered by Mr. Playwood. This invention saw the light of day as a result of the young engineer acquainting himself with ancient comic books about superheroes which he discovered in the Great Arboreal Library.

Mr. Playwood has over ten examples of various weaponry in his arsenal, including a mechanical claw, a telescopic slingshot and a threshing hammer.

The original Shotgun was used by Mr. Playwood to hunt the bird Ruakh which stole his Snail-moneybox. This epic confrontation has been immortalized in a ballad “The Great Mr. Playwood Against the Insidious Bird Ruakh” (some foul mouths insist the author of the ballad is Mr. Playwood himself).

Much later the shotgun were used by the nomad army in their fight against the tribe of savages who came out of the Green Sea and plundered the lower branches of the Great Tree.

The original Shotgun was used by Mr. Playwood to hunt the bird Ruakh which stole his Snail Bank.

Caution has to be exercised when wielding the Shotgun – the recoil can kick you off a branch. Experienced shooters secure themselves with a rope made of vines before pulling the trigger.

A legendary sniper known as Squint Eye can hit a tree crab in the eye with the shotgun from a distance of fifty cubits. The tree crab is less than thrilled about it.

Using shotgun on the branches of the Great Tree during holidays is strictly forbidden. Residents of the Tree celebrate the following holidays along with the Tribe Day and the Tree Day: the Librarian Day, Fruits Giving Day, Victory over Worms Day and the Family Treehouse Feast.

The Shotgun causes no serious harm yet may cause great offense.
